Diligence and integrity: a professional compass (Mandatory course 2026-2028)
Description
The day-to-day work of certified damage insurance professionals is filled with complex decisions.
Two ethical principles serve as a true professional compass: diligence and integrity. They help protect the public and indicate the direction to follow.
Yet a compass is only useful when you know when to rely on it. That is the role of professional judgment: recognizing situations where pressure may influence decisions, staying vigilant, and choosing the right course of action.
This mandatory course will help you define these two principles, recognize the situations that put them to the test, and analyze professional decisions through the lens of best practices. The learning journey concludes with a summative assessment to validate your understanding and application of these concepts.
