Checking a Disciplinary Record

If you wish to verify whether a damage insurance agent or broker, or a claims adjuster has ever been subject to disciplinary sanctions, you may request information on his disciplinary file by contacting the secretary of the Discipline committee of the ChAD.

The proceedings, hearings and disciplinary actions of the ChAD’s Discipline committee are all public.

This information must be collected in order to provide you with an answer or the service you contacted us about. Should you refuse to provide the information, we may decline to provide the service or respond to your request. Disclosing certain information to third parties (e.g., other supervisory bodies) may be necessary in order to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, or pursuant to a statutory provision permitting or requiring such disclosure.
