In order for a training activity to be accredited by the ChAD, the training must be given by a ChAD-recognized trainer. This trainer may work independently or through a training organization.

Trainers must meet the following two criteria to have their training recognized by the ChAD:

  1. Professional experience

have at least three years of experience in the subject they teach.

2. Experience in group facilitation:

have a total of 240 hours of experience in group facilitation. Trainers who have over 100 hours but fewer than 240 hours of experience must take a two-day train-the-trainer course. A trainer who has no experience in facilitation must take a three-day train-the-trainer course.

Training suppliers must ensure that their trainers have the skills required to give the training, and that they comply with the Regulation respecting the compulsory professional development of the Chambre de l’assurance de dommages.
