Executive Vice-President and Partner, Groupe Ostiguy & Gendron 
 
Maxime Poulin holds a DCS in Insurance and Financial Advisory Services, a Certificate in Law and a Canadian Risk Management designation. He has worked in the industry since 2003. After working as a commercial lines underwriter in Montreal and Halifax, he held various positions before switching to brokerage in 2012 with the firm where he currently works. He is involved with several organizations and also teaches the Damage Insurance course at the Cégep du Vieux Montréal. In 2016, he received the Distinction Relève award from the Regroupement des cabinets de courtage d’assurance du Québec (RCCAQ).

Marie-Pierre Beaupré holds a Master of Business Administration and is a member of the
Ordre des adminstrateurs agréés du Québec. She began her career in the industry in 2001 at Desjardins Group. Before moving to her current role, she held numerous management positions. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Fondation du Cégep de Sainte-Foy.

Mary Vacirca, FCAS, FCIA 
Associate Vice President, Pricing, TD Insurance 
 
Mary Vacirca holds an actuarial degree and is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA). She began her career in the industry as an actuarial analyst in 1998. She held various positions in the field before being appointed to lead a Pricing team in 2004. In 2007, she started working for her current employer, first as Manager and then as Senior Manager, and was eventually appointed to her current role in 2015. Throughout her career, she has also been a member of several industry committees, including the Insurance Bureau of Canada.

About the Board of Directors 

The Board of Directors of the ChAD is made up of eight directors from the industry, of whom seven are certified, and five independent directors who are appointed by the Minister of Finance. The role of the directors is to ensure that the ChAD fulfills its mission. The protection of the public and the best interests of the ChAD must be prioritized when making decisions.
