Description

This training is based on a fictitious case study; however, certain aspects were inspired by actual events.  The participant, who plays the role of the judge, will hear the parties’ testimony and then make a ruling, based on the information provided and the concepts discussed.

General objective

Review best practices enabling representatives to fulfill their ethical obligations when renewing contracts.

Specific objectives

  • Implement the proper rules of practice when processing renewals
  • Appreciate the benefits of visiting the insured premises
  • Recognize the importance of notes in the record
  • Understand the impact of following up, and monitoring the file
  • Define the representative’s role vis-à-vis evaluating the amount of insurance
  • Provide the client with the appropriate explanations regarding exclusions and limits to the contract.
